Boats in Morecambe Bay

Halfway Point Highlights

Posted on Posted in Cross Bay News

The North West was blessed with LOTS of sunshine in June and whilst scrolling through my Twitter feed it would appear that most of the month was fortunately spent outdoors. June highlights included;

Client Event – Beauty 154 had a Summer Soiree to welcome people to their newly renovated space, The Loft. They said it was one of their most successful events to date which was helped by the planned social media activity in the lead up to the day.

Workshop – Engaging Young People through Digital Storytelling Workshop – this was a really interesting workshop and shows the positive impact video can have. Find out more here.

Lancaster University Masterclass – Building Blocks: Learning from Innovation at LEGO and elsewhere. Christian Majgaard, Former Head of Global Brand at LEGO. I have to admit that the word LEGO was the hook for me. An insightful and honest masterclass. The theme I feel has covered this masterclass series is to be brave but also to invest in your people.

Beautiful Sunsets across Morecambe Bay – I’m always grateful to live so close to the sea.

Trip to Scotland – would you agree we can learn more by visiting other places and seeing how they do it?

Lancashire Skills Pledge – for full details and to make the pledge, please click this link. https://www.lancashireskillshub.co.uk/lancashire-skills-pledge/

Catch the Wind Kite Festival – An incredible couple of days, did you go along this year?

Catch up with Team WITT – The team have been working hard since their win in April and it was a chance to regroup and see what the next steps are…watch this space!
